I always say this but happy Sunday, friends! I hope you’ve all had a fun weekend and did something that made you smile!
Last night Andy and I were talking about how quickly the holidays are sneaking up on us this year while at the same time the days of 2020 have felt so long and heavy at times… to be honest I’ve found myself wishing this year away more than once and the thought of that makes me sad. We have so much to be thankful for and to enjoy even when times are challenging, and that’s what I’m choosing to focus on for the rest of this year. Instead of looking back at this time in my life and seeing it as time lost, I hope I remember it as a learning point that changed me for the better. With celebrations looking different this year I’m going to do my best to still enjoy them to their fullest, starting with Halloween :). We had so much fun last night with Sophie’s cousins – costumes, pizza and an unlimited amount of laughs (and treats LOL!), what’s not to love?!
