To be honest I’ve never really gotten into dressing for spring. In the Midwest it can be pretty darn cold until the summer hits and then it’s just HOT. This time around I’ve decided to give in to these pretty pastels I’ve been seeing and I’m actually finding myself falling in love with this seasons trends!
To ease myself in I purchased this beautiful blue tunic. I fell in love with the color online but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that it was lined and slightly heavier than I had thought. Still light enough for the warmer days when the sun comes out but also very do-able when it doesn’t. When purchasing spring items I like to try them on with a few different pants as well as shorts – because the weather does change so much day to day and I want to be able to wear these items even when summer begins. Can you see this with some cute cut-offs?!? I can’t wait! I’ll link my favorite affordable shorts below, and you’ll see what I mean! I also tried this top on with darker denim and sandals and it was too dang cute!! This way I know I’ll get plenty of use out of it. Especially since it’s so adorable I know I’ll want to wear it a bunch! And if blue isn’t your thing it also comes in two other color options that are just as beautiful.

Now onto white denim. This can arguably be the most important staple in a spring wardrobe. Sure there are no rules on when to wear white anymore (can I get a whoop whoop!) but there’s just something about a crisp white pant that turns these cool tones up a notch!
As with any jean there are options all over the price spectrum and trust me, we’ve tried them all… but lucky for you I’ve narrowed down our favorite high end brand as well as a more affordable option. The two brands pictured have met all of our comfort requirements and have not lost their shape through lots of wears. They both run true to size with Amanda having had her length tailored.
