Happy hump day, friends! This past week I think we’ve finally made the change over to more summer like weather and it’s been AMAZING! Nothing lifts my mood quicker than this beautiful sunshine!
I’ve been asked quite a few times over the years if I ever wear blazers or how I would style one in a more casual way – which you know is exactly how I would be wearing it lol! With my small frame I’ve always had a hard time finding one that fits me well and is comfortable enough to actually want to wear (that’s the key for me!). I’ve seen a few of my girlfriends style outfits with blazers from Express so I decided to give this one a shot and I’m pleasantly surprised at how much I really LOVE it. I actually love it so much I’m going to go ahead and grab another style in white or ivory while they’re on sale! I have the XS Regular for more of a boyfriend fit but if you’re petite and plan on wearing it mostly to the workplace I think you could do the Petite in your regular size for a more structured look.
I think what I love most is that there is a bit of stretch in the fabric which makes the shoulder and arm area so comfortable! It can also easily be dressed up or down so you can get so much wear out of it! I’ve styled it here with my favorite tanks and these super high waisted shorts and thinks it’s such a cute look! I go true to size in these tank tops (XS) and I would say to definitely size down one in the shorts (I have the 00) and everything is currently on sale!
