We’ve had the gloomiest weather this week which I don’t actually mind but it’s made it hard to want to actually get dressed and get photos done haha :). I love when the weather calls for cozy layers, warm homemade dinners and snuggling in blankets by the fireplace. I really do love everything about fall, even the dreariness that comes along with it in the Midwest.
Now that we’re in what I like to call “real fall” I want all the chunky sweaters and fur lined boots! I might like colder weather but I don’t like being cold, if that makes any sense lol.. This outfit combo kept me perfectly warm from head-to-toe today while I was out running errands and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved the boots! They are So Warm and were very comfortable even when running in and out of stores, in the rain.
If you’ve wanted to try out the combat boot trend, that’s once again making a comeback, I love the look of the all-black paired with leggings. It looks so sleek while also being trendy. I went with a pair of platform Dr. Martens because of their amazing quality but there are tons more to choose from at Nordstrom! I was also drawn to them because they are lined so I knew they’d be warm enough to wear for months to come!
I’m also a big fan of this tunic sweater! It’s warm, not itchy and comes in quite a few color options! I ended up getting it in black too because it’s so easy to style and wear a few different ways. You can also wear it off the shoulder since the neckline is super soft. Wearing my true size XS and I love the oversized fit.
